OIDF Virtual Workshop — Thursday, December 9, 2021


The OpenID Foundation hosted a virtual workshop on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Gail Hodges, OpenID Foundation Executive Director, kicked off the workshop by welcoming the Foundation’s newest sustaining members, Cisco, Okta and Visa, and invited the respective board representatives to introduce themselves. Foundation working group co-chairs then presented updates on their working group efforts including highlights on global adoption and use cases. Joseph Heenan provided the latest on the Certification Program including updates on global adoption, including Open Banking Brazil, as well as plans to expand the program in 2022 to include eKYC & IDA, FAPI 2.0, Shared Signal & Events and MODRNA conformance suites. The workshop also included an update on the GAIN proof of concept by Dr. Torsten Lodderstedt.
